Apple has released an update to it's iTunes software, aimed to provide a number of bug fixes and slight speed improvements.

Below are the list of improvements as detailed in the release notes;

• An issue where iTunes may become unresponsive when syncing an iPad.
• An issue which may cause syncing photos with iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to take longer than necessary.
• A problem where video previews on the iTunes Store may skip while playing.
• Other issues that improve stability and performance.

Faced with mounting costs, and an ever reddening balance sheet, Spotify has made the decision to limit the amount of time a user can stream music for free.

The Swedish start up first burst on to the scene in 2009, with unlimited streaming for all users, however the increased popularity of the music streaming player has severely impacted on the costs, particular the licensing fees they pay to record labels each time a song is played.
